Dedicated to Gustav Klimt's portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer, known as the Austria's Mona Lisa. This Art Nouveau portrait is realized in a limited series of 10 Atmos clocks. More than 1200 pieces of wood and gold leafs were used for this masterpiece. The 12 hours marker is a cushion-cut yellow sapphire. The other markers are made of petrified wood on mother of pearl. The following woods have been used: Yellow-wood, Yellow-heart, Andean boxwood, East Indian satinwood, lemon wood, madrona burr, blue amboyna burr, tulipwood burr, myrtlewood burr. The wooden cabinet opens by itself via the touch of a hidden button.
Since 1833, when the inventive Charles Antoine LeCoultre established this venerable watchmaker, it has produced some of the most outstanding and innovative timepieces. It wasn't until 1931, however, that the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand rose to international fame. It was then that the Reverso - an ingenious reversible watch - was unveiled to the public.
